The former vice-governor of Kuban was sentenced to 11 years in prison.

The Pervomaisky District Court sentenced former Vice Governor of Krasnodar Krai Sergei Vlasov. The court found him guilty of bribery and sentenced him to 11 years in a maximum-security penal colony and a fine of 90 million rubles.

According to the court, while serving as Deputy Governor, Vlasov learned that the General Director of NAO RSK KK was receiving illegal bribes from subcontractors. The official demanded 50% of these bribes. In exchange, Vlasov promised not to take any action regarding illegal activity and to ensure continued uninterrupted funding for construction work carried out by NAO RKS KK. Vlasov did not admit guilt at the court hearing, but it was established by the totality of evidence examined in the case, the press service clarified.
