Nineteen drones were shot down in three regions of the Southern Federal District.

The Ministry of Defense reported 11 drones shot down overnight in Adygea, seven in Kuban, and one in the Rostov Region. Another drone was shot down over the Sea of Azov.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on the night of December 29, a drone attack damaged two houses in the Kuban village of Kushchevskaya and three private homes in Krasnodar.

From 11:00 p.m. Moscow time to 7:00 a.m. Moscow time, 89 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed, including 11 in Adygea, seven in Krasnodar Krai, and one in Rostov Oblast, the governor reported in his The Ministry of Defense's Telegram channel.

According to the publication, another drone was shot down over the Sea of Azov, and the rest were shot down in the Bryansk, Novgorod, Oryol, and Smolensk regions.

Earlier, from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM Moscow time on December 28, 21 drones were intercepted and destroyed: 10 over the Rostov region, seven over the Sea of Azov, and four over the Krasnodar region, according to another publication by the Ministry of Defense.

There are no wounded in the attack in Adygea, the head of the republic Murat Kumpilov reported on his Telegram channel at 09:46 Moscow time. According to him, 17 drones were shot down in the region.

"Last night, air defense systems on duty repelled an attack by enemy drones. Seventeen UAVs were intercepted and destroyed over the republic's territory. There were no casualties or damage," he wrote.

As a reminder, on September 6, in the Adyghe village of Afipsip, a drone attack damaged three private homes. On August 30, the military shot down drones in the Takhtamukaysky District of Adygea. A local resident was injured by falling debris.

On December 14, Kuban authorities reported that during the drone attack, "UAV debris" damaged five private homes in the village of Afipsky. A power line was also downed.

This village is home to an oil refinery, which has been repeatedly targeted by drones. On November 29, an aerial attack caused a fire at the refinery, forcing workers to evacuate. The fire was extinguished the same day.
