SVO members complained to Melikov about the lack of gas in their house in Izberbash.

Military personnel from Dagestan recorded a video message to the head of the republic, Sergei Melikov, in the area of a special operation in Ukraine, asking for assistance in bringing gas to a house in Izberbash.

The video message from participants in the military operation in Ukraine to the head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, was posted on the Telegram channel "Chernovik," which has over 47,000 subscribers. By 4:45 a.m. Moscow time, the video had garnered over 4,700 views.

The video shows five men in camouflage and balaclavas, armed with automatic weapons, against a forested backdrop. One of them addresses the head of Dagestan.

"My call sign is "Talha". Today is December 24, 2025. We are members of the Special Forces Assault Regiment "Akhmat". I am addressing Sergei Alimovich Melikov! Pay attention to Izberbash, Mayakovsky Street, No. 116. They haven't had gas for four years. There are elderly people, women, and children there. Our families are freezing! The developer is citing the administration, but there is no positive result," the soldier addresses Melikov.

"I ask you to pay attention to this problem, "Because we have no one else to turn to," he adds.

As of 4:50 a.m. Moscow time, there are no comments on the website of the head and government of Dagestan regarding the appeal of the SVO participants to Melikov.

Previously, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that military personnel from Dagestan participating in the SVO periodically record video messages to the republic's authorities asking them to resolve various social and domestic issues. In particular, on March 5, a video message with complaints about inflated prices for school meals and corruption in the purchase of housing for orphans was published by participants in a special military operation from the Tsuntinsky District of Dagestan. At the end of September, SVO members complained to Melikov about the lack of sewerage in Khasavyurt.

During a direct line on November 27, Dagestan head Sergei Melikov sidestepped pressing issues and gave only vague, convenient answers to the questions raised, residents of the republic noted, noting that they were expecting clarification about the constant electricity and water outages, burning landfills, and rising prices for housing and communal services and transportation.
