A soldier from Kabardino-Balkaria was killed in a military operation.

Zalim Tutukov from the Leskensky district was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have publicly acknowledged at least 350 soldiers from Kabardino-Balkaria killed there.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by December 19, authorities and security forces had officially acknowledged at least 349 soldiers from Kabardino-Balkaria killed in Ukraine.

Safarbi Inzhizhokov, head of the Leskensky district, announced the unveiling of a memorial desk for Zalim Tutukov at a school in the village of Argudan on his Telegram channel. He did not provide details about the soldier's biography or death.

Thus, at least 350 soldiers from Kabardino-Balkaria have been officially acknowledged as killed on the Ukrainian front. The "Caucasian Knot" knows the names of 337 of them, while the deaths of another 13 were revealed in a report by the republic's authorities on payments to the families of those killed in 2022.

The "Caucasian Knot" is maintaining a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation. The list is based on data officially released by government officials and law enforcement agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Northeastern Military District Statistics: Casualties Are Mounting for Southern Russia".
