Residents of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky were left without water after a drone strike
A pumping station in the Rostov region was knocked out after a drone attack, cutting off water supply to residents of a residential area in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, the Maslovka village, and the Pogorelovo station.
As reported by the " Caucasian Knot ," Rostov-on-Don, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Novoshakhtinsk, and nine districts of the Rostov region—Kamensky, Millerovsky, Chertkovsky, Belokalitvinsky, Sholokhovsky, Tatsinsky, Tarasovsky, Morozovsky, and Konstantinovsky—were attacked by drones last night. There were no injuries, but roofs and windows were damaged in some homes , the governor reported.
Drone attacks were also recorded in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Rostov-on-Don. According to the Ministry of Defense, eight drones were shot down in the region overnight .
In the Kamensky District, a water intake and pumping station have been shut down due to damage to a power line, Governor Yuriy Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel .
Restoration work will begin after the UAV is neutralized.
"Residents of the Zavodskoy microdistrict in Kamensk, the Maslovka village, and the Pogorelovo station remain without water supply. Emergency services will begin restoration work after the UAV is neutralized," he wrote.
The Kamensk-Shakhtinsky administration reposted this post on its Telegram channel without adding any additional information. As of 10:05 AM Moscow time, no comments had been posted.
As a reminder, on November 25, a drone attack in Taganrog and the village of Bessergenevskaya killed three people and wounded eight more. A 76-year-old Taganrog resident, who suffered serious injuries, later died in the hospital, bringing the death toll to four .
By December 1, affected residents had submitted 635 applications for one-time payments and 20 for financial assistance for total property loss. Two weeks after the attack, residents complained on December 10, many apartments remain without glass . The city administration reported that 283 of the 665 windows had been restored.
