Ramzan Kadyrov added a medal from Zolotov to his collection of awards

Rosgvardia Director Viktor Zolotov awarded the head of Chechnya the medal "For Military Distinction." Ramzan Kadyrov's son, Adam, received one in the spring. 

As the " Caucasian Knot " reported, on March 27 it became known that Adam Kadyrov, the then 17-year-old son of the head of Chechnya, was awarded the departmental medal "For Military Distinction" by order of the Director of the Russian National Guard, Viktor Zolotov.1 . The awarding of this medal to Adam Kadyrov was made possible by the arbitrary interpretation of his achievements by the leadership of the Russian National Guard,analysts noted .

Chechen Prime Minister Magomed Daudov announced Ramzan Kadyrov's latest award, congratulating him on social media. Zolotov personally presented the Russian National Guard's Medal "For Distinction in Combat" to the Chechen leader, according to a post on Daudov's Telegram channel. 

Daudov did not specify for what specific merits Ramzan Kadyrov was awarded the medal, limiting himself to general remarks about his “enormous contribution” to “achieving the goals and objectives of the special military operation.” 

Chechen leader Adam Kadyrov's son, who had previously received a similar medal, received a certificate of honor from the Russian National Guard today, Daudov reported in a subsequent post. "This award recognizes his personal contribution and active support to the Russian National Guard units in fulfilling their missions to protect the constitutional order, ensure public safety, and ensure law and order," he explained of the younger Kadyrov's certificate. 

Viktor Zolotov arrived in Chechnya today, December 8, and Kadyrov met him at the airport, the official Grozny Inform news agency reported today. Zolotov's visit to the republic was described as "working," and his agenda was not made public.

Members of the Kadyrov clan have received over 150 awards since the start of the military operation in Ukraine. Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has received at least 31 awards, with his son Adam second and his daughter Aishat third.

On February 24, 2023, Ramzan Kadyrov became the first recipient  of the title Hero of Chechnya. This title is awarded by the head of Chechnya, according to a decree signed by Kadyrov. On October 5, on the occasion of his birthday, he  was awarded the title Hero of Chechnya for the second time  , and he signed the decree conferring the title himself.
