On November 4, in Yelan, Volgograd Region, a farewell was held for 38-year-old local resident Andrey Dyakov. He volunteered for the Northern Military District in April 2024. The man served as a stormtrooper and was killed in the combat zone, according to the publication "Volgogradskaya Pravda.ru," whose founders include the Volgograd Regional Administration and the Regional Committee for Territorial Entities, Domestic and Information Policy.

During his lifetime, Andrei Dyakov was awarded the Zhukov Medal.
