A soldier from Karachay-Cherkessia was killed in Ukraine.

Valery Rozov from the Adyge-Khablsky District was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have named at least 175 combatants from Karachay-Cherkessia killed there.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by November 3, government and security officials had officially recognized more than 7,850 soldiers from southern Russia killed in the military operation, including 174 from Karachay-Cherkessia.

The Adyge-Khablsky District administration named another soldier killed in Ukraine, reporting the presentation of posthumous awards to his relatives.

Valery Rozov was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, according to a statement on the municipality's official Telegram channel. The officials' publication did not provide the age or biographical details of the deceased.

Thus, at least 175 servicemen from Karachay-Cherkessia have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation.
