Two soldiers from Stavropol were killed in Ukraine.

Mikhail Tkachenko and Roman Makarov were killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have publicly named at least 815 service members from Stavropol Krai.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by September 21, government and security officials had officially recognized at least 7,451 soldiers from southern Russia killed in the military operation, including 813 service members from Stavropol Krai.

Andrey Zaitsev, head of the Georgievsky Municipal District, named another service member from Stavropol Krai killed in Ukraine during his report on the opening of the so-called "Hero's Desk." A desk bearing the name of Mikhail Tkachenko was unveiled at Lyceum No. 4, according to a post on the official's official Telegram channel.

The information about another deceased soldier was released by the Sovetsky District administration during its report on the distribution of posthumous awards to the relatives of the soldiers. Roman Makarov from Zelenokumsk was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, according to a post on the municipality's official channel. Biographical information for both killed officials was not provided in the reports.

Thus, at least 815 soldiers from the Stavropol Krai have been officially recognized as killed in the war zone in Ukraine. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation.
