North-Ossetian resident apologizes for beating a woman after threats in Chechen social media

Dzambolat Kalaev, a resident of North Ossetia, posted on the Internet a video appeal with apologies for hitting a train car attendant. Instagram users believe that the native of Chechnya had suffered. They did not accept the man's apologies and called for physical violence against Dzambolat Kalaev.

Today, a video appeal from Dzambolat Kalaev, a resident of North Ossetia, who apologizes for hitting the train car attendant, has been posted in the Instagram public account "Chechnya Online". At the same time, the author of the video has also voiced his claims against the car attendant. "I hope that this woman also has conscience, let her even not apologize for her actions. People should know more than one side of the coin," Dzambolat Kalaev said in the video. The man did not specify what exactly the car attendant had done and did not disclose her nationality.

In particular, a message reporting that the Chechen car attendant was hit was posted in the Instagram public account "ChP / Grozny" on August 28.

In their comments on social networks, many users refused to accept the apologies voiced by Dzambolat Kalaev and resorted to harsh words while calling for physical violence against him.

"No apologies are accepted," wrote, in particular, user sharpoody. "Look for running galoshes, there no need to apologize anymore," user ahi____707 addressed the author of the video with the apologies.

"Maybe the woman was wrong, but you should have remained a man to the last. It is no longer considered who is guilty and who is not! You raised your hand against a woman, against our sister," wrote user grozny7995.

If the author of the video appeal in fact hit the Chechen woman, then her fellow countrymen may consider the apologies insufficient, agrees Salavdi, a resident of Grozny. "Such acts are considered an insult to the entire nation in our republic," Salavdi told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
