Units and sub-units of Cossacks in Abkhazia went on higher state of alert

The order that the units and sub-units should go on higher state of alert was issued by high ataman of the Friendly Association of Abkhazian Cossacks Major-General Oleg Petrov in connection with the change of power in Georgia and possible large-scale armed actions against the Republic of Abkhazia.

Deputies of the high ataman, atamans of the districts and of the town of Sukhum, commanders of units and some sub-units were ordered to maintain higher state of alert till January 15.
