A fighter from Kabardino-Balkaria was killed in Ukraine.

Muradin Psanukov was killed in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 408 combatants from Kabardino-Balkaria have been officially recognized as killed.

As "Caucasian Knot" reported, government officials and security agencies previously officially recognized at least 407 fighters from Kabardino-Balkaria as killed since the beginning of the special military operation.

Muradin Psanukov's death was announced following a protest held at a school in the rural settlement of Svetlovodskoye in the Zolsky District. The "Defenders of the Fatherland in Kabardino-Balkaria" foundation reported the event on its Telegram channel.

Muradin Psanukov was born on October 5, 1970, and was killed on February 27, 2024. The foundation did not provide any other details about the soldier's biography or his death in its statement.

In February, the Zolsky District administration named five natives of the district killed in Ukraine.

Thus, at least 408 soldiers from Kabardino-Balkaria have been officially recognized as killed in the SVO. The "Caucasian Knot" knows the names of 395 of them, and the deaths of another 13 were learned from the republic's authorities' report on payments to the families of those killed in 2022.
