The Southern District Military Court extended the pretrial detention of pensioners Nabiyev, Kuzovenko, and Zakharova, accused of creating an illegal armed group. However, the hearing was again disrupted because doctors prohibited Nabiyev, who had suffered a third heart attack, from participating in the trial.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," pensioners Nikolai Nabiyev, Sergei Kuzovenko, and Marina Zakharova, accused of creating an illegal armed group, complained of health problems in pretrial detention. On June 6, the Uspensky District Court of Krasnodar Krai declined to issue a verdict and referred the case to the Southern District Military Court. On December 18, the court postponed the hearing due to the serious condition of one of the defendants.

The hearing scheduled for December 19 in the case of pensioners Nabiyev, Kuzovenko, and Zakharova, accused of organizing an armed group, was once again disrupted due to doctors prohibiting Nikolai Nabiyev, a disabled man who suffered a third heart attack and is in a Rostov hospital, from participating in the trial, a court source told a "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"The hearing in the criminal case took place. The court did not consider the case on its merits due to the illness of one of the participants in the trial, but the court extended the pretrial detention of all three defendants. "The substantive hearing has been rescheduled for January 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.," he explained, adding that the hearings are closed.
